On May 11, 2024, at approximately 10:45 p.m., a tragic incident occurred in the parking lot of the Concord Mall in Wilmington, Delaware. A fight erupted near the entrance of the L.E.A.D. Fest Carnival, an event aimed at promoting drug and violence prevention. During the altercation, an unidentified individual drew a firearm and discharged several rounds, striking two teenage boys.
