Jeremiah Redding, 13, a Black male, was shot on the afternoon of April 28, 2020, in Wilmington, Delaware, after officers were called around 5:08 p.m. to the 100 block of Ashton Place. He was found with a gunshot wound, taken to a hospital, and later died of his injuries. Public records and memorial notices list his date of death as April 30, 2020.
