A 35-year-old Black male named Khalif Friend was found dead early on the morning of May 7, 2018, in Wilmington, Delaware. He was discovered slumped over the steering wheel of his vehicle in the 700 block of East 5th Street. Investigators say he suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene around 7:35 a.m.
