Jason Hicks, a 39-year-old resident of Newark, Delaware, tragically lost his life on March 30, 2016, during a robbery gone wrong. The incident stemmed from a previous drug deal between Hicks and one of the perpetrators, 33-year-old Joseph Hunt from Wilmington. Hunt orchestrated the robbery, but it was his accomplice, 29-year-old Durrion Morrison, also from Wilmington, who fatally shot Hicks five times when the plan went awry.
