In the early hours of June 1, 2024, Wilmington Police responded to a shooting near East 3rd and North Lombard Streets. Upon arrival, officers discovered 26-year-old Raekwon Brickhouse suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition but later succumbed to his injuries.
