A 28-year-old Hispanic/Latino male, Jose Noel Duran-Lopez, was shot early in the morning on August 31, 2024, in Wilmington, Delaware. He was found by police at approximately 1:48 a.m. in the 100 block of South West Street, near a Riverfront restaurant, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite life-saving efforts, he was transported to a hospital and later pronounced dead.
