Jennifer Sue Lessard, a 40-year-old female, had plans for an ordinary evening on May 19, 2008. With groceries in her car, she intended to run a few errands before picking up her two sons. However, her life was tragically cut short when she went to the Gray, Maine, residence of her estranged boyfriend to retrieve her belongings. There, she was fatally shot in the head by 48-year-old Albert Merrill.
