On April 11, 2024, in Minot, Maine, 19-year-old Emali Sallee was found deceased alongside her boyfriend, 20-year-old Tyson Peters, in what authorities determined to be a murder-suicide. Deputies from the Androscoggin County Sheriff's Office conducted a welfare check at 425 Millett Road around 6 a.m., discovering both individuals inside the residence. Autopsies revealed that Sallee's death was a homicide, while Peters died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
