On November 29, 2007, in LaGrange, Maine, 25-year-old Kristin Hart was fatally shot in her home. Her husband, Jeremy Hart, 34, was charged with her murder.

The incident occurred when Jeremy Hart discovered Kristin with another man in their residence. According to reports, the other man stated that he and Kristin were "kissing" and "fondling" when Jeremy entered the darkened room.
