In the coastal city of Rockland, Maine, the life of 30-year-old Caucasian female Allison R. Small was tragically cut short on January 28, 2005. A Vinalhaven woman, she was fatally shot at Bunker's, a food distribution company that she and her husband, Brandon Small, operated. The incident that unfolded in the parking lot of the New County Road business stemmed from a planned meeting to discuss a personal matter involving Allison, her husband, and a truck driver for the company, Douglas Dyer.
