Ronnie Joe Winborn, a 29-year-old African American man from Memphis, TN, tragically lost his life on August 21, 2015. He was an electrician and a loving father to his two young children, Gabriella and Ronnie Joe Winborn Jr. On the day of his death, Ronnie and his mother, Laura Winborn, were shot and killed in their home by an intruder. The children, aged 3 and 5, witnessed the horrific event and managed to escape to a neighbor's house for help.
