On December 7, 1998, in Caribou, Maine, a tragic incident occurred involving the Cousins family. Leigh Cousins, 34, fatally shot his wife, Tina Marie Cousins, 30, and their two children, Cortina, 4, and Cote, 2, before taking his own life in what was determined to be a murder-suicide.
