In the quiet Willard Beach neighborhood of South Portland, Maine, the life of 50-year-old Fred Wilson, a male computer programmer, came to a sudden and violent end on April 18, 2009. His body was discovered in the basement of his Henry Street home after police received a report of an injured person and found the residence unanswered. Investigators determined he had been shot the morning of his discovery.
