On March 26, 2013, 47-year-old Charles J. Raybine Jr. was fatally shot while seated in his car outside the Parish Place Apartments on Birch Street in Biddeford, Maine. The incident occurred around 1:45 a.m., and Raybine was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigations revealed that the shooting was drug-related, with Raybine having a history of drug abuse.
