Raymond Springer, also known by the nickname "Jabo," was shot and killed in Madden Park, Dayton, Ohio, on July 11, 1972. The incident occurred at approximately 8:30 p.m., and it is believed that Springer may have been in the park with other individuals who witnessed the event but left the scene before the police arrived. The crime has remained unsolved for more than five decades, and his case continues to be listed as a cold case by the Ohio Attorney General's office.
