On October 15, 2024, at approximately 6:30 a.m., 47-year-old Stephen Francis Killam Jr. was found deceased inside a vehicle in the parking lot of Mount Joseph at Waterville, a rehabilitation and nursing facility on Highwood Street in Waterville, Maine. Responding to reports of multiple gunshots, Waterville police discovered Killam's body and initiated an investigation.
