Murdered

On December 4, 2012, Justin V. Smith, 26, of South China, Maine, was fatally shot outside You Know Who's Pub in Waterville. The incident began with an altercation between two groups of men, during which Smith punched Matthew Partridge, 30, of Winslow, who was seated in his truck. Partridge then fired two shots, one of which struck Smith in the face. Partridge left the scene but was apprehended about 20 minutes later by a state trooper in Smithfield.
