On September 23, 2013, in Oakfield, Maine, 51-year-old Michael Kitchen and his partner, 49-year-old Heidi Pratt, were tragically murdered in their home. Both victims were found shot to death inside their residence, which was then set on fire. Michael Kitchen suffered multiple gunshot wounds, while Heidi Pratt died from a gunshot wound to the neck.
