On September 12, 2017, 70-year-old Pamela Ferriere was fatally shot in her hospital room at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire. The shooter was identified as her son, Travis Frink, 48, of Warwick, Rhode Island.

Ferriere was being treated for an aneurysm and was expected to be released soon. Frink visited his mother in the intensive care unit and asked his stepfather, Robert Ferriere, to leave so he could speak with her alone. Shortly after, Frink shot his mother ...
