A woman on the way to see her boyfriend disappears
On the evening of July 1, 1989, 32-year-old Caucasian female Pamela Webb left a family gathering in Winthrop, Maine, to drive to her boyfriend's home in Mason, New Hampshire. The trip was one she had made numerous times before. She was driving her 1981 blue Chevrolet pickup truck with her dog, Thumper, beside her. At 9:52 p.m., a turnpike ticket showed she entered the Maine Turnpike in Augusta. This would be the last time her movements could be definitively tracked.
