Katherine Lavoie, 49, was shot and killed by her husband, Mark Lavoie, in a murder-suicide at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover, New Hampshire on December 30, 2014. Katherine was a patient in the critical care unit at the time of the incident.
