On August 29, 2008, 63-year-old Carl M. Seebeck was fatally shot in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, while en route to work. Early that morning, as part of his routine, Carl left his West Cole Street residence, stopped at a nearby Dunkin' Donuts for coffee, and proceeded toward the Roosevelt Avenue bus stop. Between 4:15 and 4:30 a.m., near 300 Broadway, he was shot and killed. Witnesses reported hearing loud music, a car accelerating, and observed a suspect fleeing the area.
