On October 23, 2018, 23-year-old Jason Gonzalez was fatally shot while driving in Providence, Rhode Island. The incident occurred just after 2 p.m. near the intersection of Donelson and Admiral Streets. Gonzalez was operating a silver Toyota Camry when gunfire shattered the vehicle's rear window. After being struck, the car veered over a curb and collided with a stop sign.
