Murdered

On June 8, 2019, 42-year-old Larry Carr Jr. was fatally shot outside his apartment at 9th and Cliff in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The incident occurred when Carr stepped outside to converse with a coworker. During their interaction, Ramon Smith emerged and, after a brief exchange, began shooting, striking Carr and two other men. While the other victims survived, Carr succumbed to his injuries.
