On November 9, 2021, a tragic shooting occurred in Scotland, South Dakota, resulting in the deaths of three individuals and serious injuries to two others. Among the deceased was 68-year-old Librado C. Monclova, who was at his residence during the incident. The assailant, identified as 41-year-old Francis Lange, forcibly entered the Monclova home and opened fire, killing Librado, his daughter Angela Monclova, and family friend Diane Akins.
