On July 20, 2014, 51-year-old Teresa I. Zimmerman was fatally shot in her home in Burns, Wyoming. Her husband, 61-year-old Ronald Thomas Zimmerman, was arrested and charged with second-degree murder. Authorities reported that Ronald Zimmerman admitted to shooting his wife in the face with a 12-gauge shotgun because she was yelling at their grandchildren.
