On September 28, 2021, 46-year-old white male Robert “Bob” Lowery was located deceased on a steep, timbered slope off the Black Canyon Trail at the base of Teton Pass in Teton County, Wyoming, after a coordinated Teton County Search & Rescue operation. The discovery followed more than a month without contact since Robert 'Bob' Lowery was last seen in the Jackson Hole area; searchers recovered the body during a focused sweep prompted by new public tips.
