Gary Dale Hodges, a 71-year-old white man from the Thayne area, was discovered dead on Monday, November 4, 2019, after worry turned into action in Star Valley Ranch. Someone who hadn't heard from the couple for a while called the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office and asked for a welfare check at their home on Alta Drive. Deputies arrived late in the morning and, after getting no answer at the door, went inside.
