In the quiet community of Keithville, Louisiana, a dispute over a stolen video game system escalated into a tragic event that claimed the lives of three brothers. On the evening of August 17, 2010, Jeremiah Adams, 20, Jarquis Adams, 18, and their youngest brother, 13-year-old Jean 'Gene' Adams, were fatally shot. The three African American males were inside their Chevrolet Malibu, having just pulled into the driveway of a residence on Keatchie Marshall Road, when the shooting occurred.
