On an otherwise quiet evening in Keithville, Louisiana, the lives of the Adams family were irrevocably shattered. It was August 17, 2010, when 20-year-old Jeremiah Dewayne Adams, an African American male, along with his younger brothers, 18-year-old Jarquis and 13-year-old Jean, were ambushed in a hail of gunfire.
