Jarquis Adams, an 18-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on August 17, 2010, in Keithville, Louisiana. Jarquis, along with his brothers Jerimiah Adams, 20, and Jean Adams, 13, were ambushed and shot to death by Marcus Donté Reed, a 33-year-old man who believed the brothers had stolen his Xbox 360 video game system.
