On July 7, 2011, 13-year-old, male, Charles Glenn Conant of Wheatland, Wyoming was fatally shot in his family's mobile home. During the same shooting, his two brothers—11-year-old, male, Joseph Raymond Conant, and 18-year-old, male, Everett Eugene “BJ” Conant IV—along with their 33-year-old, male, uncle Nacuma Roland Conant were also killed. Their 35-year-old father, Everett E. Conant III, carried out the attack.
