On the evening of August 28, 2020, 41-year-old Santino Manjadit Makur Marial was with friends outside a garage at the Cheyenne Estates apartment complex in Fargo, North Dakota, when he was fatally shot in a drive-by incident. Despite immediate medical attention, Marial succumbed to his injuries. His two companions were unharmed.
