On November 2, 1999, Ronald Kataoka, a 50-year-old resident of Honolulu, Hawaii, was tragically shot and killed at his workplace, the Xerox building located at 1200 N. Nimitz Highway. The incident, later known as the 'Xerox killings,' was a mass shooting carried out by a disgruntled employee, Byran Uyesugi.
