The tragic incident unfolded on August 3, 2018, at an apartment complex situated on Ali'i Drive in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. Police were called to the scene after receiving a report of a possible disturbance. Upon arrival, officers discovered the lifeless bodies of Joy Mills-Ferren and Bradley Wood-Ferren inside a second-floor unit.
