The quiet community of Captain Cook, Hawaii was shaken on the evening of April 28, 2020, when police responded to a reported shooting incident at a residence on Middle Keei Road. Officers arrived to find 45-year-old Joshua Bonham suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite efforts to save him, he was pronounced dead at Kona Community Hospital.
