On September 17, 2004, 45-year-old Lisa Marie Nichols, a white female resident of Turnerville, Alabama, was brutally murdered in her mobile home. The crime occurred shortly after Hurricane Ivan had passed through the area. Lisa, a divorced mother of two daughters, was known for her resilience and dedication to her family.
