In the early morning hours of December 15, 2019, a house party in the quiet community of Elsanor, near Robertsdale, Alabama, turned into a scene of tragedy. Dominique Marshall, a 21-year-old Black female known to her loved ones as 'Niquee', was fatally shot. The gathering, held at a home rented through an online platform, was attended by a large group of young people.
