On a Sunday in Robertsdale, Alabama, the life of 24-year-old Katherine Lee Clark was tragically cut short. On June 14, 2020, she was found shot to death in what authorities have described as an apparent murder-suicide.
Law enforcement from the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office made the discovery at a residence on Ard Road after being dispatched for a welfare check.
Inside the home, they found both Katherine Clark and 41-year-old Mark Andrews deceased from gunshot wounds.
The initial findings of the ongoing investigation suggest that Andrews was the perpetrator, shooting Clark before taking his own life. When deputies arrived at the scene, no one else was present. The Baldwin County Sheriff's Office Investigations Command has been handling the case and has encouraged anyone with information to come forward.
