On July 23, 2007, Jonathan Lamont Silver, aged 34, was shot and killed in Washington, D.C. The incident occurred at approximately 4:15 AM while he was sitting in his vehicle in the 3000 block of South Dakota Avenue, NE. The gunman approached Silver’s car and opened fire, resulting in his death. The motive for the shooting was unclear, and the identity of the attacker remains unknown.
