On March 16, 2008, 17-year-old Gabriel Myers was fatally shot during an altercation at a residence located at 1528 Pearson Avenue Southwest in Birmingham, Alabama. The incident occurred during a dispute, leading to Myers sustaining a gunshot wound.
Following the shooting, authorities arrested Dandre Hamner in connection with the case. Hamner was charged with murder and taken into custody.
