On July 5, 2008, 18-year-old Isaiah Ford was fatally shot while driving in the 2300 block of South Park Terrace within the South Park Apartments complex near Five Points West in Birmingham, Alabama. The incident occurred around 4:00 a.m., when Ford was struck by gunfire while at the wheel of his vehicle.
