In the early morning hours of a late August day in Birmingham, Alabama, the life of 19-year-old James Jean Hendricks was tragically cut short. On Thursday, August 24, 2017, police and firefighters responded to a call and discovered the young man's body in the front yard of an abandoned house. He had been shot multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene around 1 a.m.
