On January 3, 2021, at approximately 8:45 p.m., Birmingham Police Department officers responded to multiple reports of gunfire near an apartment complex at 2108 Warrior Road in Birmingham, Alabama. Upon arrival, they discovered 52-year-old Brian Keith Fleming lying unresponsive in the parking lot, having suffered a fatal gunshot wound. Birmingham Fire and Rescue personnel pronounced him deceased at the scene.
