On January 31, 2020, 26-year-old Tyrese LeRichard Morrow was fatally shot in Birmingham, Alabama. Around 1:55 a.m., officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 900 block of 24th Street South, within the Southtown Court public housing community. Upon arrival, they found Morrow unresponsive, suffering from a gunshot wound; he was pronounced dead at the scene. Another individual was transported to UAB Highlands with life-threatening injuries but was expected to recover.
