In the autumn of 2021, a Birmingham, Alabama community was shaken by the violent death of a longtime resident. Charles Melvin Peterson, a 72-year-old male, was found deceased in his home on Thursday, September 30, 2021. Born on October 21, 1948, Mr. Peterson had been a familiar face in the city for many years.
