On May 24, 2020, 27-year-old Tyler Rashard Busby was fatally shot in Birmingham, Alabama. At approximately 5:10 p.m., officers from the Birmingham Police Department's West Precinct responded to a report of a person shot at 2808 Bessemer Road. Upon arrival, they found Busby unresponsive on the ground, suffering from a gunshot wound. Birmingham Fire and Rescue personnel, along with the Jefferson County Coroner, pronounced him deceased at the scene.
