In the quiet of a Tuesday evening in Birmingham, Alabama, a story of young love ended in an unimaginable tragedy. On November 12, 2024, 21-year-old Joshua Wayne Parsons and his 16-year-old girlfriend, Alexis Elizabeth 'Lexie' Wise, were found shot to death inside a car. The vehicle, riddled with bullet holes, had come to a stop on a sidewalk in the 1300 block of Princeton Avenue S.W. near an abandoned house.
