In the late summer of 2008, the life of 31-year-old Jerry Anthony Marcrum, a male resident of Birmingham, Alabama, was tragically cut short. On September 5th of that year, Marcrum was fatally shot, becoming a victim of gun violence. His death stemmed from a dispute over an accusation of theft, a conflict that would ultimately lead to a man being held accountable for the crime.
