On March 15, 2009, 39-year-old Brennan 'B.J.' Jackson was shot and killed at his home in the Ensley neighborhood of Birmingham, Alabama. The fatal encounter, which took place at his residence on the 1400 block of Avenue I, was the result of a deal involving ten pounds of marijuana that turned violent. Jackson, a male, was found deceased from gunshot wounds on his doorstep, leaving behind three children.
